Analysis in the Social Sciences.

Unfortunately we cannot accept you at the moment. The reason for this
is that you will only get your diploma at the end of August and this is
the requirement for admission to the programme. Only at that moment we
are able to send you the embassy letter which you need in order to get
your visa. As the programme starts in half September you will not have
enough time to take your visa.

In case you would like to follow the programme in 09-10, you can send
us your final diploma by February so that we can take you into account
for the next selection.

Dear Ms. M.;

Thank you for notifying me about my application. I am so sorry to learn that the only obstacle before my admittance to the program is the fact that I am going to receive my diploma at the end of August 2008. That is why, I would like to clarify the following points:

First of all, I really want to attend this program, so I will also apply next year. But since I am going to grauate this year, I would like to start in September. Because if I start this year, it will be finished by next year; and I can be one step ahead to continue my education on doctorate level.
Secondly, you wrote that the only reason I am not accepted now is the reason that I cannot get the visa until mid-September. Actually, my passport type is what we call "green passport" in Turkey, which gives me the right to enter EU countries and live there up to 3 months without visa. So, if the visa problem is the only barrier, I will certainly have time to get my student visa even after I start studying in Brussels.
Thirdly, I know that my graduation in August seems to be an ambigious situation and you may think that maybe I will not be able to graduate. As a reminder, I would like to emphasize that only one couse left for my graduation which I could not take before because I went to Brussels for Erasmus exchange program. And, from my transcript, you can see that my grades are stable except for the Spring 2007 semester and I am a good student. So, I would like to assure you that, if my grades for this semester are good enough -which I think they will be- there is no reason for me not to be graduated in August.
Finally, I want to repeat that, I am writing this e-mail only because you informed me about the reason I am turned down. I will understand if I am not good enough or not eligible to start the program. But if the date of graduation is the only obstacle, it will sadden me very much to lose one year for nothing.

In light of the foregoing, can you please make my application taken into account again? I hope it is not too late.
But anyway, thank you for your concern in my application and for keeping in touch with me in every stage of the evaluation.

ulan altı ay fransızca kasıp seneye fransa'ya mı gitsem?.. hatta en baştan başlayıp, mis gibi bi lisans daha mı yapsam?.. felsefe filan şöyle.. hem de üç yılda bitiyo. belki kafamı toplayabilirim.
hmmm.... paris'e gidebilir miyim acaba?.. bi yandan da college de france'ın derslerini takip ederim.. baharda eyfel'in ordaki parkta çimlere uzanıp kitap okurum. ordan sıkılınca luxembourg bahçesine geçerim.. hayat bayram olur... mu?
